No bath, no problem. In fact, it's the most colorful LUSH Christmas season for no-bath Lushies thus far. What are my and Chubby's spot-on favourites? 

The one who loves long showers

You won't leave Lush store empty handed if your fav person (or you) loves warm showers. A rainbow of famous Snow fairy, spicy Cinders, calming Sleepy and uplifting Ectoplasm in both, naked and bottle version, are perfect to experience a new dimension of showering. Snow Fairy is my personal bubblegum sweetheart, while Cinders is straight-up runner because of warming cinnamon scent. Sleepy is a typical sweet lavender - for those who can't sleep. Another thing I've noticed is that the naked versions are quite creamy in texture so be careful with storing. Still they act totally same as the bottled ones, you just save planet from another plastic bottle or two.

Nimaš bane, nimaš problema. Letošnja LUSH božična kolekcija je polna mavrica dišečih pripomočkov za pod tuš. Kateri so moji in Čabijevi najljubši izdelki sezone? Dodajam nekaj predlogov za darila in malo svojega skromnega mnenja glede novih Lushevih božičnih izdelkov. 

Za tiste ki obožujejo dolga tuširanja

Brez skrbi, iz Lush trgovine ne boste odšli praznih rok če vaša ljubljena oseba (ali vi) obožujete dolga, vroča tuširanja. Mavrica nagcev za tuširanje Snow Fairy, začimbnega Cinders, nežnega Sleepy in poživljajočega Ectoplasm bo pričarala novo izkušnjo pod tušem. Le odločiti se je treba za najljubši vonj. V času božiča mi vedno prija razigrana Snow Fairy ki diši po sladkorni peni, obenem pa sem očarana nad Cinders, cimet in eksotična pomaranča v enem. Sleepy s sivko ni ravno moj najljubši, ampak je lahko lepo darilo za vse nespečne. Prav tako sem opazila, da so nagci letos res mehki in kremni zato pazite kako jih shranjujete. Obnašajo se popolnoma enako kot verzije v plastičnih stekleničkah, le da naravi prihranite plastiko ali dve. 

If I had to choose among Lush perfumes: Autumn Picks

You might be thinking I'm slowly turning into a quirky LUSH lady but the reality is - I've just wanted to find a way to indulge Lush in another way than simply watching their bath bombs on display (and wishing I had a bath tub too). You, bath bomb lovers, can laugh all you want. I will comfort my sorrow in Lush perfumes and shower gels. I'm beginning to master my Lush scents. Seriously. Ever since Amelie Mae (read about it here) became my summer jam, I'm actually realising how much I've been missing out - not trying Lush perfumes beforehand. If you're a Lushie you most definitely need to find your favourite Lush scent! It's an obligatory step you need to take. But can you really bond to only one scent when there's so much colourfulness that suits different moods?

Mogoče se vam zdim že kot pokvarjena LUSH plošča, ampak po resnici? Želela sem raziskati še Lush parfume ker se samo slinim ob njihovih kopalnih kroglicah - ki ne pridejo v upoštev pri meni doma. Kopalnica brez bane je prekletstvo. Svojo žalost bom zlila na svojo kožo v obliki Lush stekleničk. S tem pa postajam pravi mali mojster Lush dišav. Ugotavljam kaj mi je všeč in kaj ne. Kakšen je moj karakter, kaj je moj dišavni podpis in kakšen vtis želim pustiti. Lush dišave so več kot barvne lestvice vonjev, pustijo močen pečat ravno zaradi nenavadnih mešanic, ki so daleč stran od generičnih poizkusov. Po poletni romanci z Amelie Mae (preberi tukaj) sem še bolj zaljubljena v čarovnije Lusha. Ko enkrat postaneš pravi Lushie, je raziskovanje svoje Lush identitete zabaven proces. How to use less plastic & LUSH Campaign against plastic

Plastic. Facts like 8 million tons of plastic in the ocean sound teriffying but we can't actually imagine the amount unless we're somehow involved. Dead dolphin in our bay was crucial for me personally to reconsider my plastic habits. The problem wasn't personal until now. Until it came to our ''backyard'' if you know what I mean. Does it matter to you? Does it matter to us? Nobody's perfect and I'm guilty of some bad plastic habits too. Thankfully, my beloved LUSH regularly reminds me of different environment problems. Hot topic about plastic in the ocean is being evaluated also by Lush. For this purpose, Lush brought out Turtle Jelly Bomb which highlights the danger of plastic for all ocean living being. Including turtles which often mistake plastic bags for their food - jellyfish. That's why, Turtle Jelly Bomb is full with algae threads that remind of plastic. You will enjoy cypress and sandalwood scent but bathe in comforting layer of jelly. The bright side is also that Lush opened first ever store in Milano, that sells only naked products. Hurray! Also don't forget you can always trade 5 Lush pots for a fresh face mask.

Plastika. Lepo je navajati dejstva o 8 milijonih ton plastike v oceanih, če si sami tega niti ne predstavljamo. Pred dnevi sem na spletu zasledila sliko mrtvega delfina v enem od naših zalivov. Z Mercator vrečko in plastičnimi mrežicami okoli sebe. Novica me je pretresla ker problematike enostavno ne jemljem dovolj osebno. Ne tiče se nas dokler se to ne dogaja na našem vrtu. I'm all bunny ears - Lush Easter, Ocean Salt, Scrubee, Dream Cream

I'm a sucker for animal shaped products. Bunny back, bee, koi fish and bears? Lush Spring releases look like an animal kingdom of cute (kawaii) treats. Well okay, Scrubee is not totally new but it's new for me. While ''bunny hopping'' solid shampoo is a neat complimentary item to Lush Easter collection.

Lush is thriving with new products, including Halloween and Christmas editions. It's my favourite season to indulge into extra creamy and warm scented Lush items. Lush Haul: Plum Rain, Dream Cream & Sugar Plum Fairy

Lush is my comforting spot. I had a lot of stress hanging over me these past months and I've finally managed to finish my master's degree (in psychology). Before my final stress moment, I was sucked into my comfort shop. Good ol' Dream Cream sounded like a perfect balm to soothe my stress and new Plum Rain spoke to me with fruity acidness.

Let me introduce you to the most beautiful, festive collections for this holiday season. Separating them from other chaff, I'm highly impressed with their performance, looks, quality and value for the money. Although I generally love glitters and bling bling every once in a while, I'm getting slightly agitated with identical glitter concept every holiday season. It's nice to see a fresh new air of sophisticated beauty editions that are actually usable all year around.

Lush Haul: Christmas edition & D'Fluff, Brazened Honey Mask

I'm a retired Lushie. And I got my Lush mojo back, just in time before Christmas. I can't imagine Christmas without Lush and Snow Fairy is my Christmas staple. Luckily for my wallet, Snow Fairy was sold out at my nearest Lush shop but that didn't stop me from getting pink marshmallows and toffee treats.

New MAC Lipsticks, Lush & French Skincare: First Impressions

I need a word or two with you before fully diving into new bits and bobs. I'm sharing my latest mixture of products that stood out to me, while still mixing in my own purchases. Lush is my almost long-forgotten love that needed to be revived while Mac lipsticks are a must purchase when venturing abroad. My ultimate addiction. Corine de Farme is a pretty new, low-budget friendly brand for me but I was pretty happy with Bocassy in the past. Le Couvent des Minimes even managed to host a wonderful blogger event whereas the main theme was mindfulness - a delightful surprise as it's fully incorporated in my study field, psychology.

Preden popolnoma skočimo v raziskovanje teh izdelkov, moram z vami deliti besedo ali dve. V tem koktejlu izdelkov združujem nekaj novih izdelkov. Lush je moja že skoraj dolgo pozabljena ljubezen, medtem ko se je enostavno nemogoče upreti Mac ličilom v tujini. Corine de Farme je zame dokaj nova francoska negovalna kozmetika, Bocassy pa sem že uspešno preverjala v preteklosti (objavo lahko prebereš tukaj). Le Couvent des Minimes se je odločil slavnostno pričakati novo linijo spokojnosti v družbi blogerk in uporabe čuječnosti - kar je bilo lepo presenečenje tudi zame, saj poznam koncept že iz mojega študija psihologije.

Eau Sereine from Le Couvent des Minimes is a calming and relaxing blend of lavender, mandarine, bergamot, rose and cedar. Soothing scent and mild combination of essential oils will help to ground your spirit, uplift your mood and perfectly end your working day. It's universally likable scent, even though I'm not a big fan of lavender. It has a perfect balance of citrus freshness and grounding, earthy notes. I really, really like it for days, when you just don't feel the need to wear synthetic fragrances. I can't talk about longevity as I'm currently only testing Relaxing Pillow Mist. So far, it's just enough mild before my bed time sleep. Not too strong and really pleasant for the evening time. You can discover Cologne (100ml, 29,90€), Relaxing Pillow Mist (100ml, 18,50€), Hand Cream (25ml, 6,60€), Relaxing Shower Gel (200ml, 10,90€), Relaxing Bubble Bath (500ml, 18,50€) in whole Eau Sereine collection.

Nova kolekcija Le Couvent des Minimes Eau Sereine poudarja čisto spokojnost, sproščanje in hkrati vedrino. Nenavadna kombinacija sivke, mandarine, bergamotke, vrtnice in cedre bo blažila vaš um, razvedrila vaš duh in izboljšala počutje. Vonj bo tako rekoč všeč prav vsaki osebi, saj pooseblja vedrino citrusov in prizemljene note, kot so sivka in cedra. Kljub temu, da sama nisem velika oboževalka sivke, mi je vonj prirasel k srcu. Je lahkoten v nasprotju z ostalimi sintetičnimi dišavami, nikakor pa lažje pozabljiv. O sami kolonjski vodici ne morem povedati veliko, sem pa že nekaj dni preizkušala Sproščajočo meglico za lahko noč. Le-ta je ravno dovolj koncentrirana, a hkrati ne moti mojih čutnic pri umirjanju. Če ste dokaj občutljivi na vonj, se lahko zgodi da vas bo meglica motila pri počitku. V celotni kolekciji Eau Sereine lahko najdete Kolonjsko vodico (100ml, 29,90€), Sproščajočo Meglico za lahko noč (100ml, 18,50€), Sproščajočo kremo za roke (25ml, 6,60€), Sproščajoč gel za tuširanje (200ml, 10,90€) in Sproščajočo penečo kopel (500ml,18,50€). Celotno linijo poiščite v Nami, Maxiju in vseh prodajalnah Muller po Sloveniji.

Corine de Farme is a natural skincare brand from France. It's main features are affordable prices, effectivness and natural ingredients. So far, I was a stranger with this brand as I'm hardly able to track all novelties in skincare department. Micellar Cleansing Foam (150ml for 6,69€) serves as a hybrid between your usual micellar water and normal cleansing foam. It combines two basic steps into one, which means less time at the bathroom sink. It truly removes most of basic makeup with gentle foam, while doesn't strip your skin out of moisture. It's gentle and airy while effective at removing foundations, lipsticks and partly mascara. It's in no meaning a salvation for your waterproof makeup but rather an easy step to remove first layer of makeup. I usually like to finish off with micellar water, toner and coconut oil. In general, I really like this Micellar Cleansing Foam and I'll most definitely look after other Corine de Farme products in Muller or other beauty shops.

Corine de Farme je zame popolna novost, kljub temu, da znamka deluje v Franciji že vse od leta 1966. Glavni atributi te francoske kozmetike so ugodne cene, naravne sestavine in vidna učinkovitost izdelkov. Najbolj me je pritegnila Micelarna Čistilna Pena (6,69€ za 150ml, nakup tukaj), hibrid miceralne vodice in čistilne pene. Z nežno, penečo teksturo in miceli tako poenostavi čiščenje ličil v en korak. Kar zmanjša čas ob umivalniku po že tako napornem dnevu. Čistilna pena lepo očisti vse vrste pudrov, rdečil, senčil in tudi črtal ter malce maskare. Ostanek maskare se lahko potem odstrani dodatno z njihovo naravno miceralno vodico. Nad samim izdelkom sem presenečena, saj pena učinkovito očisti ličila, bolje kot ostale čistilne pene. Tako zelo, da bom dejansko pokukala še po ostalih Corine de Farme izdelkih na spletu in v poslovalnicah Muller.

Lush is my guilty pleasure. I used to spend hundreds of euros in their stores but I slowly drifted apart with this brand. Here and there, I sneak into their store to try out essentials like shampoo, shower gels or even deodorants. While I was pretty unlucky at getting Aromaco Deodorant in the festive season (and T'eo just doesn't work for me), I finally found a new block of Aromaco in the nearby store. So far, including my sister, we love it! It's the best smelling deodorant on the block while it protects me from odor the entire day. Patchouli as the main note is wonderful, while other natural ingredients shrink your pores for extra protection. Use is super simple too - just run the block under your armpits and the buttery block will slowly melt. Only praises for now! Soak & Float Shampoo Bar caught my interest due to my mom's current sort-of-dermatits on her scalp. She has severely itchy scalp with irritated red parts and dandruff. While nothing seems to help, I've chosen this super natural bar of juniper, rose and marigold petals to soothe, treat and help with itchy scalp. After first wash, my natural-cosmetics-virgin mom was suprised at how good it lathers and smells. Her scalp is currently not as itchy while dandruff seems to be slightly reduced. Sweetly scented with tonka, it's just a scentful joy in our bathroom!

Obožujem Lush, vendar sem nanj skoraj pozabila ob tako široki ponudbi kozmetike v zadnjih letih. Da obudim nazaj svojo ljubezen, se tu in tam odpravim v njihovo trgovino in naberem zase nekaj osnovnih pripomočkov, predvsem takšnih, katerih še ne poznam. Že med prazničnim časom sem namreč iskala njihov deodorant Aromaco (7,10€, 100g), ki pa je bil na žalost popolnoma razprodan. Kot nadomestek sem izbrala deodorant T'eo, ki pa mi ne odgovarja zaradi teksture in drobljivosti. Na srečo sem pred nekaj dnevi naletela na popolnoma svež kos Aromaco deodoranta, ki se obnaša podobno kot kokosovo olje ob stiku s kožo. Obe s sestro redno uporabljava svoj kos in sva trenutno popolnoma vzhičeni! Aromaco je popoln - topi se ob stiku s kožo, diši zapeljivo po pačuliju in zmanjša pore s pomočjo kamiličnega kisa in nepozebnika. Prepreči neprijeten vonj kljub stresu skozi cel dan. Trenutno eden izmed najboljših nakupov v 2016. Priporočam! Soak & Float Trdi Šampon (8,95€, 55g) sem kupila z namenom. Namreč, moja mama ima neke vrste dermatitis po lasišču, saj jo lasišče konstanto srbi, obenem pa ima odvečen prhljaj. Razdraženo lasišče z rdečimi predeli trenutno zdravi ravno s tem šamponom, ki pomiri in olajša simptome. Z ognjičem, vrtnico, sivko in brinovim oljem trenutno pomirja njeno lasišče, več pa lahko poročam po določenem času. Šampon sladko diši po tonki, zato si ga z veseljem sposodim tudi jaz. 

Bocassy is one of those brands, that can offer a lot but it's often overlooked. I already made a review of their inital line here. Bocassy also added two cleansing novelties Clean & Tone - all around beauty regime seems to be the key. I appreciate natural ingredients, fair quality and affordable prices. In terms of each product, Clean & Tone Micellar Water removes dirt and light makeup with ease. Again, the problem starts with liners and mascaras. However, I forgive it as it's one of the first natural micellar waters on the market. Scent is really pleasant and it doesn't leave any particular residue. Clean & Tone Toner has a similar consistency as Micellar Water but without sweet scent and cleansing micels. It's refreshing and preps your skin without harming your natural pH balance. I like them both but they didn't amaze me as their previous line of face creams and serum. 

Bocassy je ena tistih znamk, ki je zlahka lahko spregledana zaradi še-ne-tako uveljavljenega imena. Kljub temu, ste lahko pozitivno presenečeni, saj znamka ponuja dostopne cene, učinkovitost in popolnoma naravne sestavine. O njihovi dnevni kremi in serumu sem že pisala tukaj, tokrat pa se je liniji pridružila tudi Clean & Tone zbirka - za še bolj popolno rutino. Micelarna vodica je naravna interpretacija, kar vsekakor cenim. Ravno zato ni najbolj učinkovita pri odstranjevanju črtal in maskar za oči, vendar lepo odstrani puder in ostale nečistoče. Diši po sladkem mandlju, vendar vsebuje vrtnično vodo, ingver, ognjič in hialuronsko kislino. Toner pa z malce bolj umirjenim vonjem uravnovesi pH kože in pomiri za nadaljnjo nego. Vsebuje izvlečke aloe vere, zelenega čaja in ognjiča. Oba sta mi všeč, saj ne pustita na koži filma, vendar nisem tako navdušena kot pri dnevni kremi ali serumu. Bocassy izdelke lahko najdete na policah Muller in DM poslovalnic.

I couldn't pass the opportunity of discounted MAC lipsticks at my nearest counter (special treats due to upcoming Women's day). I've been having Whirl lipstick on my radar, but it just seemed too brown for my skintone. Based on that, I rather stick with verified neutrals like Brave and Syrup. Brave is like an old rose classic with Satin finish, while Syrup intrigues me with cooler tone and juicy finish (Lustre finish). They're both stunning and I'm already playing with an idea to make a comparison of all my neutral/everyday Mac lipsticks. How's in?

Ker sem ob obisku MAC prodajne mize ravno naletela na popust pred velikonočnimi prazniki, sem dodala v zbirko ličil še dva odtenka. Na listi želja sem sicer imela Whirl šminko, vendar je bila na moji koži malce preveč rjava. Zato sem raje posegla po klasični Brave in hladno roza Syrup. Klasično umazano roza Brave je v Satin formuli, medtem ko se Syrup lepo sloji in pusti lep sijaj z Lustre formulo. Obe sta nosljivi in hkrati lepo poudarita obliko ustnic. Ker imam v zbirki že kar lepo število nevtralnih MAC odtenkov, sem razmišljala tudi o primerjalni objavi vseh odtenkov. Kdo je za? Namreč, Brave je zelo blizu Faux, medtem ko nisem popolnoma prepričana, kam bi umestila Syrup.

Volume is always welcomed in my book but most of drugstore products can't handle their initial promise. Having a really positive experience with sea salt spray, I've decided to roll the dice with this fairly expensive sea salt shampoo from Lush. Lush Big Shampoo (18,95€, online) is surely a pleasant addition to my hair care routine. Hair stays fresh for days, smells like a true margarita and volume keeps bouncing back. Lime juice makes hair shinier and healthy looking. What keeps it from making the cut for ''top favourite shampoo'', is tangled wet hair and issues with color treated hair. Sea salt exfoliates scalp and gives a lovely mini scalp massage but you end up with slightly tangled hair. A good hair brush and conditioner can solve this particular problem. My main complaint is based on my color treated hair perspective. Being blond, I always struggle with brassiness and yellow tones. Ever went on a holiday with freshly coloured hair? If yes, you can imagine the same thing with this little pot. Colour will fade tremendously with each wash. That's why, this is my guilty pleasure for special occasions and still maintaining fairly pearl/white like hair. Just a small warning, blonds and redheads. On the contrary, you can easily use this shampoo for removing hair colour you don't like.

My main point is that Big really does work. You get shiny hair, extra volume, revived roots, margarita scented hair and lovely texture. Keep in mind I didn't use any conditioner whatsoever on the upper picture (excuse my awkward pose). Treated hair, especially blond and red, will most likely have difficulties with maintaining hair color. For the price of 18,95€, you get a massive tube that will last at least 3 months with regular usage. You need only a pea size amount for lathering up your entire scalp. Highly recommend for an extra boost of volume and shine without any artificial chemicals or preservatives.

Soap a Gift & 7 Uses for Soap

If you're looking for an eye catching gift for your loved ones, look no further. Soaps are great as a stocking fillers as well as a fun gift for your friends, co-workers or yourself. Lately, I've been loving Lush and Bomb Cosmetics purely because of amazing smell and mild cleaning properties. They are both cruelty-free, vegetarian and gentle to the skin. Both brands are actually from the UK. Of course they're not terribly hydrating but quite creamy comparing to a regular soap.

 If you're craving a caramel/honey dessert, Lush got you covered. Honey I washed the Kids smells like toffee cream dessert with a hint of honey. It's definitely an earthy scent rather than purely sugared scent. A returning cult favourite that I always buy for nostalgic reasons. I love to use it for cleaning my synthetic brushes since it's not too harsh yet removes stubborn dirt.

Bomb Cosmetics soap in Strawberry Fields is another great all-rounder with essential oils. You can only imagine how good this smells like. Has a yummy, fruity smell that borders more on candy-like scent. It's a fresh strawberry scent with apples and a hint of creaminess. On top of all, every soap has a quirky note on the back to cheer up your mood. Strawberry Fields would be a perfect soap for everyone, who loves girly and fruity scents. Definitely an addictive soap for almost a fraction of Lush price.

We all love Lush Snow fairy

I know Christmas time is near when I see Snow fairy on Lush display.

Snow fairy has such a yummy smell that I can't resist it every year.

Medium bottles always last me up to a year and when I use them up I'm already looking forward to get a new one. Fortunately I got some Lush gift cards for my birthday back in August and I already knew I want to get Snow fairy on the end of the year.

I had this issue with every Snow fairy but if you're patient enough you can get them out with turning the bottle upside down (however some will tightly stick to the bottom).

P.S. Christmas Ponche shower gel also smells AMAZING- fruity sweet smell!

Both smell really fresh and fruity, almost like a perfume.

Amazingly sweet mint candle which smells DIVINE. Yankee candles have nothing on Bath&Body works.

My bronzer collection + bronzer shades for fair skin

I was always BRONZER-terrified since I'm really fair.

But after trying out loads of bronzers despite my fear I narrowed them on 5 that work for me.

Although I do like each one of them I still don't use bronzers very often.

I prefer blushes and since I have a huge blush variety, bronzers seems to be the least interesting.

For an all over glow and bronzed look I usually use Wet'n'wild Everything under the sun and Vivo baked bronzer shade 3. 

They are both really shimmery and the Vivo one show up only on NC10-20 skintone.

Since Vivo is so light I can also use it as a highlight when I'm tanning.

They don't make me orange and I get loads of compliments when I wear any of them.

I apply them with powder or stippling brush.

For contouring I always reach for NYC Sunny bronzer and NYX Taupe blush.

They are enough light for my pale skintone and don't look orange at all.

Seems like they're perfect match for me, using NYC in the summer and NYX in the winter.

NYX Taupe is slightly more ashy and cooler than the typical warm bronzer.

However, you have to be careful and light handed with the application.

I use MAC 109 brush for both of them.

The newest addition is the Lush Charisma Skin tint which I'm already in love with.

It's a lovely contouring liquid-gel like bronzer with tiny shimmers which aren't visible on the skin.

It blends out really nicely and I can see it being suited for almost any skintone.

My only problem is the packaging which can get quite dirty.

Seems to be a nice cheaper alternative to the Soleil tan de Chanel ?!

I like it using under or over my liquid foundation with Real techniques Expert face or Sephora Mineral powder brush.

All in all I would highly suggest to take a look at Lush Charisma Skin tint since it's a really innovative bronzer. Snow whites should keep an eye on the NYX Taupe blush.
