My Lipbalm Collection: 30+ Lipbalms with Quick Reviews

I cannot express my mixed feelings around my overflow (collection sounds too decent) of lipbalm. I know my amount of lipbalms is just ridiculous yet I love variety in general. I rather not even show you my three number collection of lipsticks although I would LOVE to show you all at once. Being a massive (shameless) lipstick hoarder I cannot seem to find a good reason for such behaviour. Maybe it's the shape or similarity that makes me go nuts in lipbalm department as well. I did get some of them as PR gift or were gifted to me by friends. Also, they are extremely easy to use up in project pans. A good reason not to point at me with finger, right?

Let us start with Labello, my oldest love. I still remember my favourite shimmery Labello from primary school. We were crazy over all kinds of color and shimmer- pink, gold...you name it. The more you had, the bigger the envy. Scent still brings me back in the past and gives me chills of happiness. Luckily enough, Labello still sells some of my old favourites and is always adding new, fun lip flavours. My current ultimate favourites are definitely Lip Butters, especially Caramel Cream and Vanilla&Macadamia. I still crave Original and Raspberry Rose though. For all of US ladies, yes, Labello = Nivea. You can easily get them in almost every grocery store for around 2-3€ or on iHerb.

Maybelline Baby Lips can be a hit or a miss but packaging always gets me. In fact, I own two different kinds of Baby Lips - Asian and US/European version. A miss is definitely Peach and Moisture which irritate and give hardly no color payoff. I do however enjoy Grape, Mango and Pink Punch. Others are somewhere in between, not bad not great. You can find Baby Lips on Ebay or in your drugstore for around 1-3€.

Korres Lip Butters were a revelation after trying Mango (review here). Buttery texture, perfected lips, amazing pigmentation and moisture. Creamy Jasmine on the other hand, crushed my initial thoughts. It's a lovely neutral tone but formula somehow irritates my lips after a few hours. Color also spreads uneven. I would generally recommend Korres Lip Butters but research colors beforehand. You can buy Korres on FeelUnique for around 10€.
The Body Shop Lip Butter has a creamy, thick texture that's pleasant enough to use every day. I usually layer it before night sleep because of thickness. Every lip butter has a different smell that's on point - in my case, a rich chocolate smell. They are sold in The Body Shop for 6€.
Nuxe Reve de Miel Lip Balm has a gritty, thick texture that is similar to glue stick. It's matte on the lips and has a citrus scent. I haven't noticed any special benefits from the day I started using it. It's definitely not my favourite but I like to layer it before lipstick. You can get Nuxe in pharmacies, Escentual and FeelUnique

Badger, my favorite natural lipbalm with no nasty chemicals. My first and still my favorite is the Vanilla Bean although Mocha Cocoa isn't bad either. I need to point out that they all smell exactly what they claim to be. They're all super moisturising and quite thick. They don't irritate my lips which happens with quite a few lip treatments. They are animal friendly, all ingredients are read-able and they smell heavenly. A true staple in my stash. Available on iHerb and FeelUnique for around 2€.

Lipsmackers are fun, yummy and do their job. I wouldn't call them extra efficient but they do leave a medium thick layer - if that makes any sense. In general, I like them because of thick payoff and fun scents you can't find in other brands. I especially love Cotton Candy (used up unfortunately). My least favorite was Cherry Cola. Lipsmacker are sold in drugstores and Click2Chic for around 2,50€.

Balea Lip Balms in general are quite waxy and not efficient. I usually buy them because of funky scents for lifting up my mood throughout the day. A recent new addition is Swirled Kisses which has a lovely, mild scent of bananas and strawberries. It also leaves a hint of pink on the lips. You can find them in every DM store for around 1,80€.
Rosal Lip Balm came out with a new, summer collection of 4 different colors. I choose Morning Rose, a lovely medium pink, and Coral Candy, a bright coral. They are highly pigmented with UVA and UVB protection. I find them a bit hard in texture (that can easily break) but I forgive them considering the price. They are sold only in Croatia for about 2€.

Vaseline Lip Therapy Rosy Lips is a normal, tinted Vaseline in a cute, tiny pot. Smells exactly like roses and leaves a slight tint. Nothing exceptional but does the general job. It's not the best for chapped lips.
Rodial Steam Cell Balm has a lipgloss texture at first but transforms into a balm after a few minutes. Has a strong rose scent and does amazing job with soothing and moisturising. It's deep repairing and efficient yet it plumps the lips for a glamorous look. I got it as a freebie with magazine but you can find Rodial on Asos.
Yu-Be Moisturising Skin Cream is a Japan version of Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream. Highly concentrated glycerin heals and repairs chapped lips. It contains vitamin B2 & E and is safe for entire family. Heals and sorts cracked skin and I rely on it when I have a true massacre on my lips. Yu-Be is sold in Sephora and Ebay for the fraction of  E. Arden price.
ChapStick Hydration Lock is US based lip treatment brand. So far I'm not entirely impressed by efficiency but I like the idea of repair and moisture side in one lipbalm. Doesn't have any particular scent or color.

Which lip balms would you recommend? Which one is your favorite?

Tarte Amazonian clay blushes review

Many of you wanted to hear my opinion on Tarte Foursome Blush Set.
Let me start with the most general thought- these are THE BEST
The price is ridiculously high (25$ each) but if you grab the Foursome set you're definitely getting some hardcore pigmented blushes (35$ for 4 mini blushes = 1 for less than 10$) for less.

Now...there's no difference between my regular size Tarte Exposed blush and these 4 minis.
The quality is the same- super pigmented yet really easy to blend.
Due to amazonian clay they stay put for the entire day (great for oily skin too).
They are buttery soft and not looking too powdery on the skin.
I even like them better than my Nars blushes, seriously.

Tarte Exposed (regular line, 25$) is a nude-beige-pink (dirty rose) color with matte finish.
Super easy to apply and goes with any look you can imagine.
You can definitely still see the imprint- loads of product used but still no dent.
One of my top 5 blushes of ALL TIME.
Blush can be popped out and placed in a magnetic palette.

Stellar (Foursome set) is a glittery bronze color with warm undertones.
Really pigmented and easy to blend.
Just a regular bronze shade but not perfect for contouring due to glitters.

Angelic (Foursome set) is a highlighter with yellow-champagne base and rose gold shimmer.
It's more yellow-based highlighter but still works perfectly on fair skin.
It's not too pigmented- you have to scrape it with a highlight brush to get full glowing cheeks.

Fantastic (Foursome set) is a bright matte neon pink.
This one is especially buttery and soft.
Just a standard pink on the cheeks.

Magic (Foursome set) is my favorite!
I thought I would love Fantastic more but this color just knocks your socks off.
It'a a bright coral-red shade with matte finish?! I can't even describe it.
Makes your cheeks super healthy and warmly flushed.
I'm not a big fan of red blushes- but this one is magical.
L to R: Fantastic, Magic, Stellar, Angelic, Exposed

Dupes?
Well...I found one perfect dupe in my collection.
It's Tarte Fantastic and Nars Gaiety.
Nars Gaiety is slightly lighter and whiter.
Upper finger: Fantastic, lower: Nars Gaiety

Should you get them? Go and run as fast as you can for them.
These mini blushes can be found on Ebay for international buyers for about 14$ a piece HERE.
You only desperately need Magic and maybe Angelic (highlighter fans).
But if you find the entire set- get it, it's a bargain of your blush lifetime.
You can find Tarte Exposed on Ebay too- HERE.

MAC eyeshadow collection and dupes

Since I've changed and sell millions of Mac eyeshadows that didn't suit me or didn't impress me,
here are some of the final ones that will stay permanently in my collection.
Keep in mind I'm really pale and leaning towards cooler tones!

UNBASIC WHITE (LE) - white shimmery color, great for inner corners
VEX- antique silver with pink and green hue, amazing all over the lid
OMEGA- matte cool light brown, great for blending and brows
NYLON- yellow based shimmery white, highly shimmery for inner corners and brow bone
RETROSPECK- rustic green-yellow cool gold, lovely all over the lid (not too orangey)
TRAX- medium violet with golden glitters, really unique shade on the lid
RICEPAPER- yellow champagne with slight sheen, lovely for darker complexions
PATINA- antique medium brown with rose gold hue, one word: MY FAVORITE
SKETCH- deep warm purple, wearable as a liner and outer V
HEPCAT- reddish purple/pink with blue sheen, to add a bit of color

L to R: Unbasic white (LE), Nylon, Ricepaper

L to R: Vex, Retrospeck, Patina
L to R: Omega, Trax, Sketch, Hepcat

WHICH ONES ARE MY FAVORITE?
Patina
♥ Vex
♥ Trax
  ♥ Retrospeck

All in all they are great shadows but other than my favs I wouldn't repurchase.
I already got rid of Satin taupe, Sable, Shale, Expensive Pink, Gleam, Blackberry,All that glitters...
They just didn't work out for me or there's plenty of DUPES.

Mac Nylon- MUA eyeshadow 1- Wet n wild Comfort zone palette
Wet n wild shade is definitely a bit more yellow toned and warmer.
MUA eyeshadow 1 is practically a 100% dupe.
Up to down: Wet n wild Comfort zone, Mac Nylon, MUA 1
Mac Patina- Catrice Oh,it's toffeful!
Both have a similar rose gold hue but Catrice is 2-3 shades lighter and with slightly less sheen.
Up to down: Oh,it's toffeful, Mac Patina
Mac Sketch & Trax- Catrice Plum up the jam
Catrice looks really similar in the pan with Trax but it has less golden sparkles (golden sheen didn't show up on the pic) and it's way cooler and darker.
However, a nice cheap alternative between Sketch and Trax.
Up to down: Plum up the jam, Trax, Sketch
Mac Omega- Urban Decay Naked- Sleek Au naturel palette
Mac Omega is way pigmented and cooler than the two dupes.
However the closest one is UD Naked with more warm tones.
Up to down: UD Naked, Mac Omega, Au naturel Capuccino
Mac All that glitters- Wet n wild Comfort zone palette
Mac Gleam- Wet n wild Greed palette
Mac Satin Taupe- Catrice My first copperware party
You can read about this comparison HERE.

Do you have any recommendations for me?
I'm searching for one more Mac eyeshadow to completely fill up my Z-palette.

My bronzer collection + bronzer shades for fair skin

I was always BRONZER-terrified since I'm really fair.
But after trying out loads of bronzers despite my fear I narrowed them on 5 that work for me.
Although I do like each one of them I still don't use bronzers very often.
I prefer blushes and since I have a huge blush variety, bronzers seems to be the least interesting.

For an all over glow and bronzed look I usually use Wet'n'wild Everything under the sun and Vivo baked bronzer shade 3
They are both really shimmery and the Vivo one show up only on NC10-20 skintone.
Since Vivo is so light I can also use it as a highlight when I'm tanning.
They don't make me orange and I get loads of compliments when I wear any of them.
I apply them with powder or stippling brush.

For contouring I always reach for NYC Sunny bronzer and NYX Taupe blush.
They are enough light for my pale skintone and don't look orange at all.
Seems like they're perfect match for me, using NYC in the summer and NYX in the winter.
NYX Taupe is slightly more ashy and cooler than the typical warm bronzer.
However, you have to be careful and light handed with the application.
I use MAC 109 brush for both of them.

The newest addition is the Lush Charisma Skin tint which I'm already in love with.
It's a lovely contouring liquid-gel like bronzer with tiny shimmers which aren't visible on the skin.
It blends out really nicely and I can see it being suited for almost any skintone.
My only problem is the packaging which can get quite dirty.
Seems to be a nice cheaper alternative to the Soleil tan de Chanel ?!
I like it using under or over my liquid foundation with Real techniques Expert face or Sephora Mineral powder brush.

SWATCHES
from L to R: Lush Charisma blended, Lush Charisma heavy swatch, NYC Sunny, NYX Taupe, Wet'n'wild Everything under the sun, Vivo bronzer 3

All in all I would highly suggest to take a look at Lush Charisma Skin tint since it's a really innovative bronzer. Snow whites should keep an eye on the NYX Taupe blush.
Which one is your favorite?

I finally took some time to photograph my entire lipstick collection and put some extra time to make this post interesting as possible.Lipsticks are my new obsession and I'm always on a hunt for new shades. How many lipsticks do you have?
I thought I have around 30 lipsticks....but ooops...I have 38 of them.

When you were a child, did you use your mother's lipsticks?
Yes I did. Especially on birthday parties for fun.

How old were you when you bought your first lipstick and what was it?
I got my first real lipstick from my aunt and I felt so happy! It was the Maybelline Watershine lipstick in 103. I was 14 years old.

What is your newest lipstick?
It's Nars Niagara lipstick which I got for Christmas from my boyfriend's family.

The most expensive lipstick I have ever bought?
I think it's Mac lipstick. They are really expensive here and you can't get them under 18€/15GBP/23$.

And the cheapest one?
The cheapest one is from NYX.

What's the most bizzare thing you have ever done with a lipstick?
Turned a male friend into a girl with all sorts of lipstick through his face.

If you had to recommend a lipstick, which brand and why?
Isadora Jelly Kiss lipsticks! Their texture is just perfect for my taste and they are really moisturizing. Although Mac lipsticks aren't bad either.

Pink or red lipstick?
Pink! Although I do wear red on special occasions.

Favorite pink?
Isadora Jelly Kiss in Coral punch. A lovely mixture between coral and pink.

Favorite nude?
It's Urban Decay Naked lipstick. It doesn't wash me out and it's almost identical color (my lips but better) to my natural lip color.

Favorite unusual shade?
Rimmel Pink gossip. Such a unique, bright color with an almost matte finish and golden sparkles.

Favorite dark shade?
MUA in shade 1. Amazing deep red with a hint of berry and it's also more wearable than the usual red.

Your biggest lipstick lemming?
Currently.... Revlon Lip butters  and Revlon Pink pout.

What are your favorite lipsticks?
I tag all of you who want to do this tag!
