Best Healthy Lipstick: Tarte Amazonian Butter Lipstick

Tarte, probably the most successful cruelty-free and natural US brand that started in 1999. Being a total fan of their Amazonian Clay Blushes (review here) it would at least befitted to try one of their lipstick formula. Tarte Amazonian Butter Lipstick was picked out by my friend Charlene who matched my shade to her favourite Tulip, lovely everyday natural rose pink. Tarte, based on active ingredients, doesn't contain any parabens, mineral oils, gluten and other harmful ingredients.

Butter in the name suggests that the formula is pretty creamy, moisturising and comfortable to wear. Because of minty flavour and scent, Butter Lipstick also cools and gives relief to slightly chapped lips. It's not tingly yet not plumping but has quite a subtle sweet mint scent. Texture is indeed, buttery, all in all. It's similar to nourishing lip balms with a pigmentation of a lipstick. Fully covers lips and leaves a subtle shine. In terms of longevity, there's not much to it rather than only about 2-3 hours. Application is easy and stress free without any settling into fine lines or outer corners. Tulip shade is a deeper rose  that transfers as a medium warm pink with rose tones. Packaging is recyclable and made out of cardboard which goes well with the ''all naturel'' concept but is not handbag friendly. Each shade has a different flower pattern and color.

Tarte Amazonian Butter Lipsticks are solid products with great formula that's not only cruelty-free, but also mostly natural without nasty, harmful chemicals. If you're opting for more healthy-reasoned natural makeup, definitely give Tarte a good go. Quality wise is definitely one of the best natural makeup lines you can come across in US, Canada and UK. Lipstick itself is not the best I've tried in general department but a nice everyday, natural option. Tarte is sold online and in Sephora for about 17$ for a lipstick piece.

Tarte Amazonian clay blushes review

Many of you wanted to hear my opinion on Tarte Foursome Blush Set.

Let me start with the most general thought- these are THE BEST. 

The price is ridiculously high (25$ each) but if you grab the Foursome set you're definitely getting some hardcore pigmented blushes (35$ for 4 mini blushes = 1 for less than 10$) for less.

Now...there's no difference between my regular size Tarte Exposed blush and these 4 minis.

The quality is the same- super pigmented yet really easy to blend.

Due to amazonian clay they stay put for the entire day (great for oily skin too).

They are buttery soft and not looking too powdery on the skin.

I even like them better than my Nars blushes, seriously.

Tarte Exposed (regular line, 25$) is a nude-beige-pink (dirty rose) color with matte finish.

Super easy to apply and goes with any look you can imagine.

You can definitely still see the imprint- loads of product used but still no dent.
One of my top 5 blushes of ALL TIME.

Blush can be popped out and placed in a magnetic palette.

Stellar (Foursome set) is a glittery bronze color with warm undertones.

Really pigmented and easy to blend.

Just a regular bronze shade but not perfect for contouring due to glitters.

Angelic (Foursome set) is a highlighter with yellow-champagne base and rose gold shimmer.

It's more yellow-based highlighter but still works perfectly on fair skin.

It's not too pigmented- you have to scrape it with a highlight brush to get full glowing cheeks.

Fantastic (Foursome set) is a bright matte neon pink.

This one is especially buttery and soft.

Just a standard pink on the cheeks.

Magic (Foursome set) is my favorite!

 I thought I would love Fantastic more but this color just knocks your socks off.

It'a a bright coral-red shade with matte finish?! I can't even describe it.

Makes your cheeks super healthy and warmly flushed.

I'm not a big fan of red blushes- but this one is magical.

Dupes?

Well...I found one perfect dupe in my collection.

It's Tarte Fantastic and Nars Gaiety.

Nars Gaiety is slightly lighter and whiter.

Upper finger: Fantastic, lower: Nars Gaiety

Should you get them? Go and run as fast as you can for them.

 These mini blushes can be found on Ebay for international buyers for about 14$ a piece HERE.

You only desperately need Magic and maybe Angelic (highlighter fans).

But if you find the entire set- get it, it's a bargain of your blush lifetime.

Christmas mail love from US

I have a slight feeling that December swap with Charlene from Paperbagheart (restarted-looking good!) will become our small tradition. 

I already think of her like my second sister and wish her all the best in everything.

If she wasn't sooo far away- I'm pretty sure we would have even better friendship.

She always takes time to reply on any of my messages and believe me- she has a pretty full schedule.

Really really really hope to meet her in the future!

Swap package all the way from Hawaii

A few months ago a sweet girl named Kris contacted me and asked me if I'm willing to do a small makeup swap. We began to know each other and I can honestly say we've become quite good friends. After we got to know and trust each other...we extended our primary plan a little bit. If you're wondering...I got her some Sleek and Barry M she wanted. So here is what I got in the mail. No need to tell you it was impossible to take good pictures as I was shaking out of excitement. If you haven't done a swap yet...you need to do it! But of course with the right person.
