MAC Makeup Look with Favorites: Ruby Woo, Patina and Soft & Gentle Skinfinish

It's so hard to admit that I like MAC Ruby Woo more than I've ever imagined. It made me reconsider my hatred toward specific red shades all over again. In fact, I was picking up the wrong shades the whole time (there are some exceptions khm). How bizzare is that for a beauty blogger?

Veliko se vrtim okoli rdečih ustnic in to težko priznam, glede na to, da sem se oklicala kot sovražnico klasične rdeče šminke. Ravno klasična MAC Ruby Woo mi je odprla nova obzorja rdeče, ki je še nisem poznala. In me spravila v dilemo, če sem v vseh teh letih sploh izbirala pravi odtenek rdeče zase? Seveda se je med raziskovanjem našlo nekaj posebnih rdečih odtenkov, ki se me še zdaj zdržijo, vendar nobeden od teh ni klasična mat rdeča šminka. Kar malo žalostno, glede na to da sem lepotna blogerka kajne?

Artdeco Holo Glam: Unicorn lipgloss and holographic Highlighter

Unicorns, duochromes, metallics, holograms...you name it, I love it.

Let's not pretend we don't want to be a mystical looking creature. Preferably covered in glitters and holograms. Artdeco Holo Glam collection had my name written all over it. I'm obsessed to this point. Obsessed. It's probably my favourite makeup collection due to this date in my local drugstore.

LOV Fatalmuse Matte Lipsticks & LOVglow Highlighter review

I'm surprised how much has LOV grown on me. You have to feel it to believe it. I'm really content with their quality and performance all around. It easily crosses line between drugstore and high-end brands. I like it, I need it, I LOV it. I like that LOV adds seasonal products to their line to keep up with makeup trends. I only hope the brand won't get as confusing as Catrice or Essence. Nevertheless, LOV is still manageable to keep up in this department (for now).

Rimmel has been always competitive with their foundations and lipsticks ever since I've entered the world of UK makeup. And that was far before Rimmel even decided branching through Europe so intensely. Rimmel has both - great, firm launches while some leave me cold-hearted and uninspired. However, I still believe they're best in making mascaras, foundations and lipsticks. If you follow me on Instagram, you've probably noticed I've been enjoying my time in Spain. There's no better way than Valencia to merge beaches, aquarium, city break, beautiful architecture and shopping in one. Spain is like a meet point of all makeup around the world - from highly concentrated Sephora on every corner, to UK and European drugstores, up to Korean variety of Tony Moly. Sticking to Sephora, I've been excited to finally pick additional Too Faced pieces. Highlighters are my thing. Perfectly creamy texture, luxury design and awful-lot-of pigmentation is what I love. The amount of highlighter on my face is limitless - glowy and healthy looking skin is just what I need. I can easily pass up contour and bronzer if only there's a good highlighter on my vanity table. That's why the new Dior Diorskin Nude Air Glowing Gardens Illuminating Powder feels like a fairy godmother's shipment. It's absolutely perfect in every single aspect. Rich and highly pigmented formula, also featured in previously released Estee Lauder Illuminating Gelee, is just heaven on earth. Before we even start to fully inspect this gorgeous Dior Illuminating Powder, I warmly suggest you to hunt down last pieces of Spring 2016 Glowing Gardens collection from Dior. As far as I'm aware, Diorskin Nude Air Illuminating Powders are being quickly sold out on every single Dior counter...for a reason.

Osvetljevalci so moja skrita strast. Popolne kremne teksture, čudovit izgled in neponovljiva pigmentacija izdelka kar kliče po nakupu. Seveda si mora moj nakup osvetljevalec še kako dobro prislužiti. To se je v trenutku posrečilo novi Dior pomladni kolekciji 2016, ki vključuje magičen Diorskin Nude Air Illuminating Powder za osvetljevanje. Bila je takojšnja ljubezen na prvi pogled, hkrati pa osvetljevalec deluje kot pošiljka moje dobre vile. S takšnim osvetljevalcem ne rabim ničesar več - z lahkoto lahko izpustim težek ''contouring'' in ne tako posrečen bronzer na moji svetli polti. Dior zmore vse to le z nanašanjem osvetljevalca, saj lepo poudari ličnice in konstrukcijo obraza, brez nepotrebnih temnih lis. Preden pa se poglobimo v oceno samega izdelka, lahko dodam le še to, da je Diorskin Nude Air Illuminating Powder vreden razbitja vašega denarnega prašička. Dejstvo, da je to eden izmed najbolj zaželjenih kosov te pomladi, pa nakazuje tudi skorajšnja razprodaja teh osvetljevalcev. Zato hitro na lov!

I totally understand, if you need a minute or two to fully take in the beauty of this particular highlighter. It's magical. I cannot hide my overwhelming response just looking at these pictures of yet intact Dior product. By now, I made a full dent into this Dior Nude Air Illuminating Powder in 001 Glowing Pink as it's an everyday necessity. Fair complexion and 001 Glowing Pink just go perfectly hand in hand. Colour is not too pink but it's rather a perfect balance of fairy pink and subtle champagne ivory. 001 Glowing Pink has a ivory base while multi-dimensional pink shimmer is running through out the product. Basically, it's an everyday duochrome magic for all kinds of fair skin - including warm, neutral and pink undertones. Medium and light skintones might enjoy 002 Glowing Nude a little bit better as it's a perfect warm champagne.

Popolnoma bom razumela, če potrebujete minutko ali dve za občudovanje te lepote. Da, izdelek je magičen, čaroben. Tudi sama ne morem skrivati svojega navdušenja ob tako popolni podobi oblikovanja in čudovite teksture, kljub temu, da je sedaj že kar velika vdolbina ob vsakodnevni uporabi Dior Nude Air osvetljevalca. Zelo svetle polti in odtenek 001 Glowing Pink sta popolna kombinacija, saj je 001 Glowing Pink čudovito ravnovesje nežnih roza osvetljevalnih delcev in zbeljene slonovine kot baze. Odtenek ima več-dimenzionalne svetlikajoče delce, ki na prvi pogled delujejo skoraj prelivajoče. Popolna izbira za vse, ki imate katerikoli podton zelo svetle kože. Malce temnejša koža ali svetlejši tipi bodo ravno tako uživali z odtenkom 002 Glowing Nude, ki poudarja zlato-bež pridih.

Design of this product is out of this world. Luxurious chrome packaging in addition with soft Dior kabuki brush is not making any injustice to inner flower imprint. Velvet blue pouch is a nice touch but nothing but rather a standard addition to Dior products. Diorskin Nude Air Illuminating Powder as the same complex name as the formula itself. As previously mentioned, texture is awfully reminiscent of older ''Gelee'' highlighters with a huge success. Formula is buttery on the touch, while it melts with your skin to flawless, natural finish. Highly pigmented formula can be easily adjusted to your needs or preference - a light touch for a natural glow or a light pressure for that ''radiant goddess'' look. There's no obvious fallout and the powder adheres naturally to your skin for all day long. It's perfect for highlighting and strobing over your entire face and cleavage. As I've said, there's no limit when it comes to my likings. I generously use it on my cheekbones, high parts of my eyelids, nose, cupid's bow, chin and forehead. It can be subtle or bold, it's your thing to decide.

Embalaža in koncept je skoraj nadnaraven. Razkošna kromirana embalaža z dodanim Dior kabuki čopičem je dovolj elegantna za tako čudovit cvetlični potisk v sami notranjosti. Izdelek lahko počiva v mornarsko modri žametni torbici, ki pripada vsakemu Dior izdelku. Diorskin Nude Air Osvetljevalni puder v prahu ima ravno tako kompleksno formulo kot samo ime. Tekstura je namreč enaka kot pri omejenih kolekcijah Estee Lauder, tako imenovanih ''Gelee osvetljevalcev''. Takoj razprodani izdelki nakazujejo na veliko zaželjenost, hkrati pa se takšni osvetljevalci ne pojavljajo pogosto na slovenskem trgu. Formula je na dotik božansko maslena, medtem ko se spoji s kožo kot kremni osvetljevalec. Naraven izgled, ki zasije od znotraj. Tudi zelo pigmentirana formula ni ovira, saj se jo z lahkoto prilagodi okusu. Z rahlim dotikom čopiča dobite nežen sijaj, medtem ko se lahko s prsti ali gostejšim čopičem preobrazite v ''sijočo boginjo''. Izdelek se ne drobi, hkrati pa pigmenti ostanejo na koži cel dan. Sama ga najraje nanesem po celem obrazu - ličnicah, čelu, mostu nosu, bradi in nad ustnico. Subtilno ali drzno, odvisno od vašega okusa.  

Dior Diorskin Nude Air Illuminating Powder actually revived my love for Dior. It's not all about luxury packaging and strong campaigns, but products actually deliver more than expected. Glowing Gardens is a sight to see and Illuminating Powder is the main star. It's worthy of worship and deep love toward this multi-dimensional highlighter. If you're bound to break your piggy bank at about 53,50€, you definitely won't regret it. Dior is available worldwide and also online for certain countries.

Seveda, embalaža je razkošna kakor njihove kampanje, vendar izdelki še zdaleč niso neupravičeno na lestvici najboljših. Ličila vrhunsko izpolnjujejo vse svoje obljube ali jih celo presežejo. Glowing Gardens kolekcija je vredna podrobnega ogleda, medtem ko je Osvetljevalni Puder glavna zvezda. Vreden je vsakega oboževanja ter tudi razbitja polnega denarnega prašička, saj je cena dokaj ''Diorjeva'' pri okoli 53,50€. Dior je v Sloveniji skupaj s kolekcijo Glowing Gardens na voljo v vseh Muller poslovalnicah.
