1st experience with Indie make up: Darling Girl

I'm in LOVE.

Since the first order - there's no way back to regular make up routine.

My first experience with Darling Girl just blew me away.

Regular (and expensive) eye shadows and blushes seem plain comparing them to DG.

Susan (owner) of the DG- welcomed me to their group of amazing Glamour girls (check HERE).

My order went straight ahead to the shiny, duochrome shades- Darling Girl masters duochromes!

Susan suggested me Tin Man - a silvery shade with strong green flash and pink shimmers.

I wish I could capture this beauty- shimmers and glitters are not camera friendly ( try it yourself! ). 

I was so intrigued by this shade I even took time to photograph my look with it - I can be preeeeety lazy about that. 

I'm already on my 2nd order and can't get enough of their eyeshadows and blushes.

Did I mention I'm also wearing Darling Girl Blushing Heart blush - wine pink with golden specks. 

Blush stayed on me the entire day - CRAZY! 

I experienced that only with Tarte.

From my heart- I warmly suggest you to check out Indie brands.

I was always underestimating them cuz' of the look and loose pigments.

Boy, I was wrong. Their make-up quality is even better than majority of high-end brands.

There's no manipulation- you're just paying for good quality products made with heart and amazing prices.

FOTD using UD Naked basics and Etude House

I'm always in a hurry when I do my make-up. 

This time I actually managed to take some pictures before I ran out of the door.

I'm really impressed with Etude House lipsticks- especially with Dear My Blooming lips range.

Colors are awesome and the pigmentation is nice yet not so drying formula as I thought.

I'm wearing OR204 Bashful Coral- one of their most popular colors.

It's a neon orange-pink in the tube- but more pink than coral on the lips.

My recent new Urban Decay Naked basics palette is used more than all my other shadows.

I thought it's a useless palette but after swapping it- I can't live without it any longer.

I'm also blown away with Schwarzkopf  Taft Powerful Age blowdry spray- gives an amazing volume to hair.

Speaking of hair - starting to miss my usual cool toned hair!

FOTD and a new hobby (for all nail polish freaks)

Lately, my life has been really hectic. 

I'm getting more and more responsibilites since it's my last year of psychology and the degree.

Having my regular lessons and trying to study as much as I can.

Not to mention I have to do my major practice and got a really hard exam in my way.

Anyone else in the same position?

However I did manage to take a quick photo of my current foundation routine.

(Gosh, my hand looks enormous, lol)

And since I'm so busy I had to find another hobby- really smart Sara!

I was inspired by THIS BLOG POST (it's in German but you can get the idea from those beautiful pictures) and started doing my own nail polish rings.

I ordered some cabochons and ring bases...and here's the result!

 These are only one style of rings but you can get various other shapes (lace ovals, squares, teardrops...)

Many of you already make their own jewelry so who am I to give you a lesson, right?

Party face: Feeling like a zombie

Since I went to a Halloween party I decided to play with liquid latex and blood gel from Mehron.

I also did quite a heavy make-up (for some) and rocked Dior lipstick Mysterious mauve(post HERE).

Honestly, I felt like a real zombie since NOBODY was dressed up or had a slight sign of Halloween.

Nevertheless I got tons of compliments and didn't really care on the end if I was the only one.

Majority even wanted to touch my wound!

 Why so serious?

 I guess I was already preparing for a zombie face,hehe.

Did you dressed up for a Halloween party? 

Thank god I didn't ''latex'' my entire face! :)

Guess Halloween tradition isn't so popular around here.
